Amenities

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has enhanced the diet charges and amenities from 09-12-2012. 
Basing on the Government orders, the following amenities are being provided to the boarders studying in APTW Residential Institutions besides free education.


Diet charges:          
Classes: 3rd to 4th     -  Rs.1000/- pm  for 10.5 months per annum
Classes: 5th to 10th   -  Rs.1250/- pm  for 10.5 months per annum

Classes: Intermediate  -  Rs.1400/- pm  for 10.5 months per annum



Uniform cloth:
In the earlier years only (2) pairs of Uniform cloth is being provided to the boarders studying in APTWR Institutions.  Since, 2009-10, (4) pairs of Uniform cloth is being provided to the students every year with in the cost of Rs.1420 (Boys) & RS.3795/- (Girls).
Indent was placed to APCO for supply of Uniform cloth for the year 2019-20.


Stitching charges:
Stitching charges will be paid @ 80/- per pair i.e., for (4) pairs the total comes to Rs.320/- per child. 


Bedding Material (Carpet, Woolean Blanket, Bed sheet and Towel)
In the earlier years bedding material is being provided once in two years to the boarders studying in APTWR Institutions. 
Since, 2009-10, the bedding material is being provided every year to the students with in the cost of Rs.1360/-.
Indent was placed to APCO for supply of Bedding Material for the year 2019-20.


Note Books
The following no. of note books are being provided to the boarders studying in TW Residential Institutions on free of cost.

  • Record Books for higher classes

Text Books
The Government has been supplying text books for school sections as per their curriculum on free of cost.

Every year Gurukulam has been supplying the required text books to the students studying Intermediate in TW Residential Jr.Colleges by purchasing through Telugu Academy.

Cosmetic Charges
As per the Govt. norms, Cosmetic Charges are being paid to the students.

Category 3rd Class to 6th Class 7th Class to 12th Class Period
Boys Rs.100/- pm Rs.125/- pm 10 months
Girls Rs.110/- pm Rs.160/- pm 10 months


Hair Cutting charges
      Hair cutting charges will be paid @ Rs.30/- per month per boy


Plate & Glass, Trunk Boxes
As per the Govt. norms, plate and Glass and Trunk Box  will be provided to the students once in five years i.e., in entry point class.  The material will be purchased through District Level Purchases Committee with in the cost mentioned hereunder.
1. Plate and Glass:              Rs.  80/- per set
2. Trunk Box                         Rs.536/- each.


Medical Insurance
The students studying in Tribal Welfare Residential Institutions are covered under Medi-claim policy i.e., “Rajiv Giri Bala Raksha” insurance scheme in co-ordination with National Insurance Company & Heritage Health Services Pvt. Limited. 
In addition to this, immediate medical facilities are being provided to the boarders of TW Residential Schools in the PHCs / Corporate Hospitals / Referral Hospitals and also using “Aarogya Sree Health Card” if necessary.
In respect of emergency cases, immediate steps have been taken to admit the boarders in Corporate Hospitals and necessary treatment have been provided to them.
